What do you love about being outside?
"I love the freedom being outside brings, people feel more comfortable and relaxed. There is nothing more energising then feeling the warmth of the sunshine and witnessing the beauty of our environment."
What is your favourite quote or mantra?
What disorders do you specialise in?
My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, addictions, grief and loss, stress management, parenting strategies and self care.
What about your training sets you apart from the rest?
"I have extensive knowledge and experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness. I like to take a holistic approach and understand no two people are the some, I enjoy finding helpful strategies that are practical the person to take home and use in their everyday life."
Ashley talks about her experience here:
"I started psychology over 10 years ago. I have uncompleted my undergraduate degree, postgraduate diploma, full registration as a Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor for provisional psychologist.
I have had experience working with a wide range of client problems using multiple approaches. I have worked with both children and adults in a variety of settings. These include behavioural issues and school refusal with children.
In the adult population I have extensive experience with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders, Stress Management, Substance Abuse, Anger Issues, Grief and Loss, Disabilities and Positive Behaviour Support."
